The Mid-autumn Festival which is on the 15th of the 8th lunar month is my favorite festival. Families in China usually gather around on this day to celebrate it.On this day,we usually eat mooncakes and enjoy the glorious full moon,which is the reason why i like the Mid-autumn Festival best .Moreover,we often buy mooncakes to our relatives.Anyway, the Mid-autumn Festival is a day of reunion .

At night, we set off firecrackers. The voice was very loud, cars parked far from us were sounding.

The first day of the Chinese New Year, we all got up early.

We said “Happy New Year!” or “Good luck this year!” to each other and get money from them. We visited our relatives all day.

That made me feel very tired but very happy because I also can get money.

有一天,我刚刚走进教室,英语老师就让我去拿班里作业本,我就服从老师的命令,到她的办公室去拿作业本。一路上,我思考了许多问题:
1.老师是不是已经知道我很喜欢上英语课。
2.老师看到我的进步了吗?

当我再次回到教室时,老师温柔的对我说:“把这些作业都发了吧!”我爽快的答应了,我依次的把作业本都发给了每一个人,我觉得老师很欣赏我。就在这时,我们班里要选课代表了,我心里想:老师会不会让我来担任课代表呢?谁想到,课下,老师把我叫到跟前问我:“你是不是很喜欢英语课呀!”我说:“自从开设英语课以来,我就很喜欢英语课”老师又说:“那让你当课代表你觉得怎么样。”我很兴奋地回答:“好啊,好啊。”就这样我当上了英语课代表。
我想要的英语课是多姿多彩的课堂。现在这个梦想成真了,所以我也就从此喜欢上了英语课。
虽然我开始的一周内上英语课对英语有点儿厌烦的感觉,但是自从那件事儿过去之后,我才看到了全新的自己,这我才知道,每个人不都是天才,就如爱迪生说的:“天才,百分之一是灵感,百分之九十九是汗水。”我们只有通过了自己的努力才会换来我们的成功。

Christmas Day,the 25th of December,is the biggest festival celebrated in the Christian countries of the world.Although everyone enjoys Christmas Day,it is particularly enjoyed by children,who get very excited because of the presents they know they are going to receive.Small children believe that their presents are brought by Santa Claus.Santa Claus (also called Father Christmas)is a kind of old man who,the children are told,lives at the North Pole.He travels through the sky on a sleigh which is pulled by reindeers and loaded with presents.Stopping on the roof of houses,he enters by climbing the chimney.When small children go to bed on Christmas Eve,they hang a stocking at the end of their beds.Their parents warn them not to try to look at Father Christmas,or he will not leave them anything.When they wake,they find their stockings filled with presents.Children are very excited on Christmas morning and always wake up early.
Christmas is also a family celebration.As any members of the family as possible gather to eat,play party games and watch the special Christmas programmes on TV.

The Seoul National Capital Area， which includes the major port city of Incheon， has almost 23 million inhabitants making it the second most populous metropolitan area in the world， after Greater Tokyo. Almost half of South Koreas entire population lives in the Seoul National Capital Area， and nearly one quarter in Seoul itself， making it the countrys political， cultural， and economic center， as well as a center for international business. The rapid economic， social and technological development of the city has played a key role in South Koreas development， and has been referred to as the Miracle on the Han River.
Seoul hosts more than three million registered vehicles and widespread traffic congestion is common. In recent years， the metropolitan government has undertaken extensive clean up of the citys air and water pollution. The revival of Cheonggyecheon， a stream that flows through Seoul city center， was a recent major urban beautification project.
